Low fps here too, my system is really at the lowest end but it worked acceptable in most cases before Odyssey.
System: AthlonXP 3700+ (1x 2,21 Ghz) 2 GB RAM Gainward GTS450 (1024mb) Windows XP Home SP3 (32-bit)
@1600x1200 lowest details, ressource cache on, trails and GPU particles off:
Before Odyssey (show all brackets): 120-150 fps in station /// 50-80 fps in small fleets (~10 ships), in warp and quiet space /// 15-30 fps on Amarr undock, in small scale fights...
After Odyssey (standard brackets and overview, just reinstalled today): 15-25 fps in station /// 5-15 fps in quiet space, warping /// ??? fps in combat situations, i didnt test - im not insane :D Changing resolution to 1024x768 didnt make any performance change.
Will do a petition tomorrow, gotta get a nap.
Hope you can squeeze out a bit more until i can finally get a new rig 07 |- T I E -|-áMature players wanted for lowsec FW life.

I'm not aware of any restrictions, i didn't set any (wouldn't know how^^). Just reinstalled my System on patch day and got not much more on disk than eve right now.
How can we check if writing combat logs works fine? |- T I E -|-áMature players wanted for lowsec FW life.

You are very likely not affected by this, if you have not done anything on purpose. Please send a bug report from within the client (press F12) and I'll have a look at your logs to go sure.
Just checked "my files/EVE/" and saw some folders were write protected, made them all writeable. FPS in warp went from 15 up to around 30-75 after this (heavily fluctuating with lots of small lags, but its a significant improvement).

To file the petition, what logs exactly do you need? (filed one with DXdiag logs yesterday on my alt, its still open afaik).

They are unfortunately not added automatically to petitions.
Ah misread O.o Just sent the bug report...
now comes the nuts part: while filing the report and flying around for logserver input my fps went up to 130 on minimum details in space, 300+ in station... later tested on everything maxed, HDR on etc... 60 fps in space on a single core 2,1 ghz machine, 2 GB ram and a GTS450 1GB ? I mean, my system is at the lower end of the minimum system requirements and i had massive issues till the past 30 minutes... i simply dont get how i'm able to max everything now where i had to set everything to minimum in the past (since incarna i think). Any explanation on that? |- T I E -|-áMature players wanted for lowsec FW life.

Alright, just narrowd it down to *drum roll* Teamspeak 3. Connecting to a TS3 server drops my fps down to constantly 5-15 again (from 50-60+ !) with heavy lags... this wasn't the case before Odyssey, TS3 didnt cause any noticable effects on performance back than.
Can anyone having fps issues and a more up-to-date Hardware check this and post results please? |- T I E -|-áMature players wanted for lowsec FW life.

For those having performance issues while running Eve and Teamspeak3 (version 3.0.10.1):
http://forum.teamspeak.com/showthread.php/88007-High-Cpu-Usage?s=15bee7ab333576f227ce60d1a399b5eb
I tested the older version 3.0.9.2 as recommended in the thread and have no more performance issues running TS3 and EVE.
